10 Random Facts About Me

Since I'm trying to get back into this whole blogging thing, I thought it would be fun to do a slightly more personal post to get to know me better. I actually love reading these types of posts about other bloggers and learning about their quirks. So here’s 10 pretty random, light hearted facts about me:

01.

I took French for four years in high school and remember nothing! haha I would really love to try and learn it again!

02.

Disney movies are my favorite! Especially the classics, but even at 32, if it’s animated, grab the popcorn! And yes, I will tear up at the sad scenes, especially if they involve animals.

03.

I'm also a sucker for the cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies.

04.

I didn’t start drinking coffee until my late 20s. My Nana stayed with us one weekend and she needed her morning cup. So I made her a cup and poured myself one too. I blame her for my addiction.

05.

I don't drink pop. I gave it up for Lent one year as a kid and now rarely dink it. I pretty much only drink water, coffee or iced tea, but sometimes I like a few sips of root beer.

06.

Golden grahams and cinnamon toast crunch are my favorite cereals. With just a little milk though because I really despise soggy cereal.

07.

I love living so close to the ocean, but I would take the lake and my families little cottage any day.

08.

I’ve never been out of the country. I would love to travel to Europe - Ireland, Norway, Greece and Spain are on my bucket list, but my husband refuses to get on a plane. (I have been to Toronto and Niagara Falls, Canada - I am from Buffalo and it's a quick drive - but don't really consider that much different.)

09.

I’m a total introvert. I’m super shy and social situations where I don’t know anymore make me very uncomfortable (and wishing I was at home with my dog). Plus, I’m just bad at small talk and they usually end with a lot of awkward silence.

10.

We never had any pets growing up. We would always ask, but my parents never gave in. When I was a teenager, my dad ended up getting and passing away from cancer. That horrible event would eventually bring my sweet Bosco into my life.

This was actually a little bit harder to do than I thought it would be! Who knew it would be difficult to list random things about yourself.

I would love to learn more about you guys! Leave me a comment below with something about yourself!
